Jealousy

After I read this poem I was pretty jealous I must say.  They described a great summer that anyone could really have. I wish I could have been the one that was writing about my own summer that I got to experience.  I love how they would describe the color of the pool and say things in a different way. It really inspired me.  I hope my my next summer will be that good!

Shake the Dust

This is for the people with dreams.
For the older people still wishing they were in their teens.
This is for the future me.
This is for the people that can't see.
Keep it cool.
This is for the people that are hurt inside and out.
This is for the people that have no doubt.
For the strong and weak people.
Keep it cool.
This is for the people that get love struck.
For the people that get hurt with love.

Gandhi

I keep forgetting to say hello, 

I keep forgetting to say see ya later instead of goodbye, 

I keep forgetting to say thank you. 

My brother keeps forgetting to put the toilet seat down. 

My friend keeps forgetting to pay me back for the 3 lunches I bought them.

I keep forgetting that I am myself and no one else.

If we keep forgetting things when will we be able to own ourselves completely? when we remember to do things?

You have to walk outside take a deep breath and think..

Its a full moon so tonight is not the last time I'll see the light. There is always a bright new day tomorrow

My Journey

I didn't really know what was going on I would wake up everyday at my house in California and see more and more boxes packed up.  I'm sure my parents told me that we were moving but I wasn't paying any attention.  I had friends but I was outgoing enough to find some new friends.
The car ride was a long car ride. But watching Baby Geniuses made it more entertaining.  It was definitely a new environment. No palm trees, warm weather, and waves.
I meet some new friends in the neighborhood and played with them over the summer and had some great elementary friends. Those were the days.
Now everyone is growing up and going their different ways throughout high school and figuring out their future for college. As everyone is busy with their new big kid lives.
I'll never forget the good old days.

Film Analysis

Ordinary World: Ren lives in Boston
Call to Adventure: He moves to Bomont to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousic, after his mothers death. He makes friends with willard. and learns all of the different laws of the town. Which is no playing loud music.

Refusal of the Call: He would play loud music in is car anyways. And let his emotions free by dancing.
Meeting with the mentor: He meets this beautiful girl, Ariel.  The Reverend daughter. They met at church by introduction with his aunt and uncle. The Reverends wife was also a great mentor to agree that they should be able to dance and listen to loud music.
Crossing threshold: Goes to city council to plead his case. about the law of music and dancing.
Allies, Enemies: Ren trying to get everyone  to agree with him to participate in his boycot. The reverend is an enemy and all of city council for not letting them listen to music and dance.
Approach: Went to the city council the first time and the declined his speech. Then he came back to them the second time and was more prepared with scriptures of dancing from the bible. And the City Council members agree with Ren and let them dance again.
Ordeal: One of his biggest fear his getting hit by a train. he would not play the game chicken by seeing who would stay out the longest with out getting hit by the train.
Reward: He gets the girl, Ariel and gets dance and listen to music at his senior ball.

The road back: He never leaves Bomont. Will they ban music and dancing again? Will Ren marry Ariel?
Resurrection: The high school students can have a fun time with music and dancing and getting to know one another.

Oridinary world

Her world.
My day is pretty much the same everyday
going to dance, school, going to dance again, coming home, going to sleep. Saturdays are always different but I'm usually dancing or sleeping.  But then one day everything changed. I broke my foot. Dancing. The doctors say I can't to anything involved with dance anymore. I can for sure walk possibly run. It made me think about things like... who cares what the doctor says, and how greatful I am to have to ability to walk.

Will she not listen to her doctor and dance anyways?
Will her foot get better?
What will she do next?

There is a guy, Chad and a girl, Sally. They were both in love and had the rest of the world in front of them. Then one day Sally broke up with Chad.She didn't have the same feelings for him as he felt for her any longer.  Chad was sad and down. Then he thought that he is going to get her back so she can never Escape his love again.

Mike is short, not a good ball player, and isn't the smoothest with the ladies.  He want to be tall and a, good baller, and wants to call a nice looking girl.  He just wants it all.  But sometimes you should always think before you wish.  Sometimes people don't realize how lucky they are with what they have. But everyone could use a few wishes.

There is a son, David and his mother, Jackie they have a great relationship and love each other dearly.  As time went on, David was growing up and Jackie was getting older. slowly the Jackie was getting sick.  The son dropped what ever he was doing to help his mom get better. She knew that he was trying his best to help her but she was not getting better. Now Jackie is in a better place and David will always have a special place in his heart with his mother.
